The Much Needed Update!
Time flies by! My last post was the two week update, and then we got hit with the stomach flu and life. Now here we are almost two months later. Oops!
I was able to plant out my garden on March 14th. I was ready to get everything out before but we had a freeze on March 11th and 12th. By Monday we were back in the 80s.
I planted out my starts of Black Krim, Cherokee Purple, Korean Long, Amish Paste, and Pink Thai tomatoes. One of my purple tomatillos was also ready; I went ahead and planted that one as well. I'm hardening off the other tomatillo plant right now.
I'm also working on adding herbs to the garden. The things I started from seed are genovese basil, orangelo thyme, cilantro, cumin, lemon basil and dill. Herbs that I didnt start- variegated lemon thyme, sweet marjoram and Italian oregano.
In this grow bag I only have the (L to R) mixed mint, variegated lemon thyme, and dill.I direct sowed glass gem corn on March 9th. On March 14th, I also direct sowed golden zucchini, dragon tongue beans, nasturtium, and several zinnia varieties.
Patiently waiting for everything to start sprouting! That is the update for now.
Happy Gardening!
